Trista

Trista is an energetic California publicist who helps talent scout Kai manufacture a pop star image for Jules Kendall. She dresses Jules in soda can tabs, elephant shaped boots, tire tread pants, and other clothing designed for a "rebel granola girl" brand. Trista removes Jules's own songs from performances, declares her vegan without asking, and arranges a fake romance with singer Jet Ballentine to generate publicity. Whether the image matches Jules matters less to her than headlines, trends, and marketability. When the plan collapses, Trista quickly sees Buck Meltsner as a possible replacement star.
