Tori Mori

Tori Mori is Olivia Parker's best friend from before Olivia moved to Odyssey and a talented student at Mapleton Preparatory School. When Olivia visits during preview week, Tori greets her coldly and criticizes her familiar acting performance. Her anger comes from an older hurt: after Tori changed schools, Olivia stopped writing and allowed their friendship to fade. Watching Olivia quit drama at the first criticism makes Tori feel abandoned again. In the nurse's office, she finally explains what happened. Olivia apologizes, and Tori admits the performance was good and that her harsh comments came from resentment. She forgives her friend but asks for real effort, encouraging Olivia to return to class and promising that both girls will stay in touch.
