Talia Bassett

Talia Bassett is the wealthy and proper daughter of Wellington Bassett and the niece of his eccentric twin brother, Wooton. She resents her father's strict plans, especially etiquette school, and spends a week in Odyssey hoping to escape them. When Wellington cuts off her money, Talia tries to upset him with photographs of mud, thrift-store clothes, unusual food, and chaotic fun. Wooton's playful mail route and Whit's obstacle course gradually help her enjoy herself without needing an audience or an act of rebellion. Beneath her polished upbringing, Talia is energetic, adventurous, and eager for a warmer relationship with her father. She learns that inviting him into her joy may accomplish more than trying to embarrass him.
