Sherri

Sherri is Erica Clark's adult roommate inside a Room of Consequence adventure. She shares an apartment with the twenty-two-year-old version of Erica and initially helps manage the ordinary responsibilities of adult life. Erica stays up late, neglects work, loses her job, and expects Sherri to keep covering the bills. Tired of supporting someone who refuses to mature, Sherri moves out. Her departure removes the safety net that allowed Erica to confuse adulthood with unrestricted freedom. Although Sherri appears only within a possible future, her firm boundary teaches Erica that grown-up independence includes work, reliability, and respect for the people sharing one's home. She will not let friendship become permission for permanent irresponsibility.
