Sebastian Karazinsky

Sebastian Karazinsky is one of two jewel-thieving brothers behind the Pomona diamond scam. The pair replaces real diamonds with fakes, and one brother's resemblance to Eugene Meltsner gives them an ideal person to frame. When Eugene brings suspicious rings to Jansen's Jewelers, the Karazinskys knock him unconscious, tie him to a chair, and place his clothing on the look-alike criminal. They plan to leave Eugene hidden while police pursue the wrong man. Whit notices Eugene's distinctive waistcoat on someone else, and Jason stops the brothers as they try to flee. Sebastian's scheme depends on mistaken identity and stolen clothing, but the disguise fails because people who know Eugene recognize details a police sketch cannot capture.
