Scott Williams

Scott Williams is an Odyssey boy who steals green apples from Tom Riley's orchard and breaks a fence while climbing in. Officer Harley is ready to take him away, but Tom forgives the thirty-dollar debt and releases him with a warning. Scott promises to behave, then immediately shoves Robbie Holt into garbage cans over a single unpaid dollar. His harshness shows that he has gladly received mercy without learning to extend it.
