Sara Asam

Sara Asam is the wife of Pastor Saeed Asam and the mother of Grace, living in a country where Christian ministry brings constant danger. She welcomes Whit and Eugene as they share an early Imagination Station with children at the family's church. After Saeed is kidnapped, Sara faces fear without surrendering to hatred. Grace returns from an Imagination Station experience ashamed of wishing judgment on her father's captors, and mother and daughter pray together for the men responsible. Sara's response gives Grace a living example of faith under pressure. She cannot control the kidnappers or guarantee her husband's safety, but she can choose compassion and trust God when every ordinary solution is closed. Steady and prayerful, Sara helps hold her family together through a crisis meant to terrify them.
