Ralph Howards

Ralph Howards is an Odyssey police inspector connected to the unsolved 1946 bank robbery. He was a young officer on duty when the crime occurred and long carried embarrassment about his actions that night. Decades later, the discovery of Spencer Barfield's skeleton inside Whit's End reopens questions the town thought were settled. Howards initially calls the case too old to pursue, but he quietly watches as Whit and Jami Martin uncover new evidence. He uses the missing bank money as bait and waits for the person responsible to reveal himself. Reserved and burdened by the past, Howards ultimately works with Whit's investigation to clear an innocent man's name and resolve a mystery that has shadowed Odyssey for forty years.
