Rachel Weaver

Rachel Weaver is an Odyssey girl whose constant lateness costs her friends' patience and nearly costs her a place in a volleyball tournament. A nightmare shows her an entire life ruined by arriving after every important moment. Determined to change, Rachel leaves early for the game, only to face a broken car, a flat bicycle tire, a poodle, a creek, and another stalled vehicle. She keeps moving and reaches the gym before the first serve by using the repaired bicycle in Whit's trunk. Her team loses, but her friends celebrate because she finally kept her word. Energetic and sincere, Rachel learns that punctuality is not about perfect circumstances; it is a way of respecting people enough to prepare and persist.
