Rachel

Rachel was Laban's daughter and the woman Jacob loved enough to serve seven years for the right to marry her. On the wedding day, Laban secretly substituted Rachel's older sister, Leah, forcing Jacob into seven more years of labor before he could marry Rachel too. She later left her father's household with Jacob, Leah, their children, and the flocks Jacob had earned. During the escape, Rachel hid household idols she had stolen from Laban beneath her seat while he searched the camp. Her life was woven into a family shaped by love, rivalry, deception, and eventual return.
