Pinocchio

Pinocchio is a wooden puppet carved by the poor toy maker Geppetto. He can walk and speak, but his freedom quickly exposes his selfishness, impatience, and unwillingness to listen. He runs away with Geppetto's savings, rejects a talking cricket's advice, and repeatedly trusts flattering strangers who promise easy riches or endless pleasure. A blue fairy offers him the chance to become a real boy if he learns obedience, kindness, and hard work. Pinocchio's foolish choices bring painful consequences, including being transformed into a donkey. Yet Geppetto continues searching for him, and that faithful love awakens the puppet's desire to change. Curious and impulsive, Pinocchio must learn that becoming truly human requires honesty, responsibility, and care for others.
