Nina

Nina is an overlooked worker in Max's circus who performs many small jobs while longing for an act of her own. Feeling invisible, she secretly creates emergencies so she can solve them and prove the show needs her. Her sabotage cuts a trapeze rope, opens animal cages, damages equipment, and adds hidden fireworks to the human cannon. Nina blames the circus's status divisions and resents knife thrower Esteban for refusing to make her his assistant. She does not realize that Esteban, secretly performing as the clown Noodles, has been helping develop her talent. When Emily and Matthew expose the truth, the circus forgives Nina but requires her to rebuild trust through dependable choices. Her need for recognition nearly destroys the family whose acceptance she wants.
