Nigel Odian

Nigel Odian is a television writer competing with Connie Kendall for a children's-programming job at Odyssey Cable. Confident in his commercial instincts, he pitches a cartoon about a pastry whose parents are all idiots. The idea reflects his belief that young viewers will respond to foolish adults and broad humor. Connie counters with her own deliberately bleak story about a little train that tries to fly and crashes into a canyon.
