Mrs. Nietchew

Mrs. Nietchew is a teacher at the school in Odyssey. She teaches English and serves as the faculty leader of the student council. Her classroom is a place of oral reports and academic challenges, and she expects her students to stand up and deliver. She also teaches the school's gifted class. Her most notable pupil is Trent DeWhite, a nervous boy who once schemed elaborately to avoid giving a report in front of her class. She is not easily fooled. When Trent was transferred into the gifted class and began playing dumb in hopes of being sent back to his old friends, she caught on to the act. Under her watch, students like Trent tend to discover they are more capable than they believed.
