Michelle Terry

Michelle Terry is a gifted young model builder who comes to Odyssey after time in juvenile detention. Living in foster care, she has a blue caboose considered for a state fair display and begins receiving trust at Whit's End. When a rival model engine disappears, Michelle's shoplifting record makes her the immediate suspect. Whit warns everyone that circumstantial evidence and reputation can make an innocent person look guilty. The investigation briefly clears Michelle before knowledge she should not possess brings the truth to light. She rejects forgiveness and believes she belongs back in detention. Defensive, wounded, and slow to accept kindness, Michelle shows how a fresh start requires more than other people's trust; it also requires the courage to receive help and choose honesty.
