Mary Müller

Mary Müller was the welcoming wife and ministry partner of Reverend George Müller at an orphanage in 1840s Bristol. She explained to Mandy and Eugene that the home did not ask donors for money or maintain a list of regular benefactors. Instead, she and George depended on God to provide for the children. When the pantry and cash box were completely empty, Mary joined the orphanage in prayer and went to bed without knowing how breakfast would appear. The next morning, a baker arrived with fresh bread, followed by a milkman whose broken wagon left him unable to deliver his load. Mary's calm hospitality and shared faith helped make the orphanage a place where children without earthly parents learned to trust God as their Father.
