Manny Kin
Manny Kin is a living mannequin whom Dotty meets on the Big Fat Road through Little Land. Convinced that his empty head leaves him without intelligence, he joins her journey to ask the Great Wishy Woz for smarts. The Woz sends Manny away with a fifty-two-volume encyclopedia and expects him to prove himself worthy. Carrying the enormous set does not give Manny the wisdom he seeks, but he remains reluctant to surrender it. That attachment prevents him from following Dotty through the Wee Skinny Gate. Manny's comic quest shows that piling up information is not the same as gaining understanding. His real obstacle is not an empty head, but trusting the wrong guide and burden.
