Landon Davidson

Landon Davidson is an Odyssey police detective and the sole member of the department's Technological Forensics division. He recruits Eugene Meltsner to investigate small, unexplained withdrawals from local bank accounts. Careful and collaborative, Davidson keeps the inquiry quiet, builds a computer trap for the thief, secures evidence, and follows the case from suspicious activity to hidden software. He is easily flustered around bank technology director Megyn Rankin, once accidentally calling her the "honeypot" meant for a hacker. Despite the awkwardness, he respects expertise and gives Eugene room to reason through difficult clues. Landon combines police procedure with technical curiosity, using search warrants, interviews, and digital evidence to uncover crimes that leave few ordinary traces.
