Jasmine

Jasmine is a patient woman who rents the Horton family's former house after losing money in her own past. Jared, Mandy, Solly, and Irving mistake her greenhouse crates for evidence of a conspiracy and sneak into her garage. Instead of reacting harshly, Jasmine explains the boxes and invites them inside to discuss their missing friend Liz. When the group discovers that the homeless Hortons have been living in their car, Jasmine offers to share the furnished house with them while they recover. Her generosity gives the family immediate shelter and restores Liz to a familiar room. Calm, understanding, and hospitable, Jasmine responds to trespassing with conversation and to another family's shame with practical help. Her welcome becomes one of the ways God provides hope after the Hortons finally let friends see their need.
