Jan Kendall

Jan Kendall is Jules Kendall's mother and Connie's stepmother. She lives in California and has struggled to build a close relationship with her daughter. Jan arrives in Odyssey with a cheerful surprise: she is engaged to a talent scout called Kai and wants Jules to come home with her. Because Kai insists that the family should be together, Jan believes the move may offer them a fresh beginning. She supports Jules's rapid entry into the music business without initially understanding how thoroughly her daughter's image and career are being manufactured.
