Henry Thomas

Henry Thomas is a boy in Odyssey who pitches in relief for the Odyssey Coyotes baseball team. He is nervous and unsure of his own talent, and he can be swayed by stronger personalities. When the star pitcher Pete Flannigan was injured, Pete trained Henry and coached him into a capable pitcher. Success briefly went to Henry's head, but Pete met his failure with forgiveness rather than a lecture. Henry's closest friend is Charles Thompson. He once let Rodney Rathbone's gang punish Charles for a theft no one had committed, then made amends with new comic books, an apology, and blue dye in his own hair. His conscience runs deep, and he owns up to his mistakes. He also answers to a strict father.
