Harrison Jones
Dr. Harrison Jones is an archaeologist who joins Connie Kendall for a B-TV program about idolatry. Proud of his collection, he displays ancient images of Baal, Dagon, and Asherah while assuming idols belong safely in the past. Connie challenges him to recognize modern forms of worship built around possessions, status, and desire. The program's stories show how a treasured object or sudden wealth can quietly take control of a life. By the end, Harrison admits that he has spent his career collecting idols, though he cheerfully mentions thousands more stored in a secret warehouse. Adventurous, enthusiastic, and slow to apply the lesson personally, he gives the episode a comic archaeologist whose fascination with artifacts helps expose the idols people carry without statues.
