George Johnston

George Johnston is Terry Johnston's father, a quiet shoe salesman with a hidden history as a CIA agent codenamed Catspaw. Terry thinks his father is boring until a spy demands a stolen military formula and George suddenly reveals his training. He fights off attackers, escapes a runaway boxcar, survives sleeping gas, and takes Terry across the ocean to London while tracking the criminals. Even when the chase leads to a dangerous penthouse and a rooftop fall, George remains several steps ahead. He has arranged a trap with Scotland Yard that captures both Nigel and Maxim and recovers the formula.
