Freddie Hart

Freddie Hart is a lonely schoolboy who is mocked for his harp lessons, butterfly collection, clothes, and affectionate family. After bullies leave him with a torn shirt and bloody nose, his parents move him to Odyssey Academy for a fresh start. The teasing follows. Desperate to fit in, Freddie changes his hair and clothing, hiding the interests that make him different, but the new image only brings more hurt. His father helps him ask whose approval matters most. Freddie learns that God already knows and loves him, and he invites Jesus into his heart. Sensitive and sincere, he does not receive a promise that every bully will stop; he gains confidence that he never faces rejection alone.
