Fletcher

Fletcher is a young mountain man in Marus, a land suffering under Adrian occupation. He shelters Timmy Riley and the mysterious Alice after raiders burn a family's cabin. When Alice declares that the Unseen One has chosen Fletcher to resist the invaders, he acts boldly, stampeding stolen cattle and destroying the town hall the Adrians use as a temple. Fletcher later confesses, and his courage helps the people drive out their oppressors and rescue Timmy. With a much larger army approaching, he trusts the Unseen One's unusual instructions and reduces his force to three hundred. Armed with torches, horns, and bells, Fletcher's small band surrounds the enemy camp and wins freedom without a battle.
