Everett Meltsner

Everett Meltsner is Leonard Meltsner's younger son and Eugene's long-lost brother. Taken away as a toddler, he has been raised by Dalton Kearn to believe that his real father died. Leonard recognizes the lonely boy from a photograph and tries to explain their connection, but Everett cannot accept the astonishing claim without proof. A hidden videotape eventually reveals Dalton's threats and deception at the African dig. Everett then pretends to remain loyal to Dalton while secretly carrying a tracking device, helping investigators obtain a confession. Reuniting with Leonard does not erase the years they lost or create instant closeness. Father and son choose to begin carefully, building a genuine family relationship one honest step at a time.
