Mrs. Clementine

Mrs. Clementine is a sharp-tongued resident of an assisted care facility who keeps Buck Meltsner and Chase alert during their volunteer visits. She scolds Chase for shouting, complains about endless bingo, and gleefully teases Buck about Lexie Winters. Lexie serves as her "philanthropical advisor," helping her choose where to donate money. Mrs. Clementine enthusiastically supports Delivering Biblical Blessings, a charity that claims to fund schooling for children in Burundi. Her generosity worries Buck when its brochures resemble materials used by the con man who raised him. She also plans to sell a family bracelet and donate the proceeds, despite her daughter Chloe's plea to preserve the heirloom.
