Christian

Christian is the traveler at the center of a Kids' Radio production of Pilgrim's Progress. Warned that the Township of Evil will be destroyed, he follows a narrow road toward the Celestial City while carrying a crushing burden. He sinks into discouragement, follows dangerous advice, and repeatedly needs Evangelist to guide him back. At a cross beside an open tomb, the burden finally falls away. Wearing the armor of God, Christian faces Apollyon, the Valley of Shadow, Giant Despair, and his own doubts alongside his faithful companion Hope. A key called Promise opens their prison, and a golden telescope helps him see the distant city. Imperfect but persevering, Christian keeps returning to the King's path until he reaches home.
