Chris Anthony

Chris Anthony is the host of Adventures in Odyssey, a role she has held since the program began in 1987. She opens nearly every episode, greeting listeners with a warm "Hi, this is Chris" and introducing the theme or setting the scene. At the close she returns to reflect on the story, often with a Bible verse, before reading the production credits. She speaks to listeners as a friendly guide, cheerful and conversational. She sometimes steps into a story herself, and has given listeners guided tours of the town of Odyssey and of Whit's End. In the earliest Odyssey USA broadcasts she signed off as Chris Lansdowne. Her voice is heard in well over a thousand episodes, more than any other on the show.
