Cal Jordan is a boy in Odyssey and the cousin of Alex Jefferson, his usual partner in adventure. Cal is the bolder of the two. He throws caution to the wind, is quick to smell a mystery, and is not afraid of getting into trouble to chase one. His curiosity has led him to snoop on a secret college laboratory, poke into hidden computer files, and even smuggle a suspicious satellite box to Whit for inspection. When the Novacom company casts its shadow over town, Cal digs into its secrets alongside Alex, Mandy, and Sarah, and he will take real risks - like sneaking out at night - to act on what he finds. He also shares everyday scrapes with his cousin, from snowball battles to a bicycle race gone wrong.
