Beth

Beth is Caleb's mother, a woman whose prison record becomes a hidden weapon against her son. Caleb wants honesty about his family history before marrying Claire, but Claire's grandmother Cynthia cannot accept the connection. During a scheme to frame Caleb for theft, evidence is planted in his hotel room and Beth's access becomes part of the suspicion surrounding him. Jason's investigation eventually shows that the robberies were staged and that Caleb is innocent. Beth's past does not make her son a criminal, and the truth challenges people who are willing to judge him by someone else's wrongdoing.
