Baron Orkzy

Baron Orkzy is a wealthy, ostentatious mercenary who wears an orange-furred cloak and controls the town of Liza. He offers Darien comfortable homes for his weary followers in exchange for protection of the baron's business. The bargain hides a dangerous secret: Orkzy's factories are producing cannon parts for Palatia's enemies. Darien accepts the arrangement only to undermine the shipments before completed weapons can reach their destination. When enemy forces later seize Liza and use its people as hostages, the baron's dealings have helped place the entire town in danger. Orkzy values profit and personal security above loyalty, making him an uncertain ally whose luxury depends on serving whichever side benefits him most.
