Antony Cross

Antony Cross is a bitter former convict who seeks revenge on Judge Jones, the man who sentenced him. Rather than attack the judge directly, he targets the judge's daughter Emily and helps frame her for bullying Kris Metcalf. Antony joins sculptor Barbra Haynes in a scheme where two strangers exchange crimes, leaving each without an obvious motive. Barbra arranges Emily's false accusation, while Antony destroys Barbra's rival artwork at Henri's Art Gallery. He chooses Emily because harming her can damage her father's reputation and reelection campaign. When young investigators trace the connection, Antony mocks their lack of proof. Calculating and resentful, he turns another person's grievance into cover for his own revenge, believing crossed motives will protect both conspirators from consequences.
