Angus McKinney

Angus McKinney is a friendly-looking farmer who secretly leads a gang of bootleggers in the hills outside Odyssey. His operation uses a hidden cave, motorcycles, road cables, and stacks of illegal bottles. When injured Officer Harley reaches Angus's farmhouse, the farmer serves him breakfast and pretends to help. He later reveals himself by ambushing the officer at the gang's cabin. Angus and his men also capture Whit and Jack Davis when they uncover the operation. Their escape fails after the getaway van strikes Harley's cable trap and spins off the road. Police arrest the ring they have pursued for months, exposing how effectively Angus used the appearance of ordinary hospitality to conceal a dangerous criminal enterprise.
