in this episode, lawrence's father calls him to tell him he cannot attend his baseball game because he has to work but in Aloha Oy! we learn that lawrence's dad is in the navy....wouldn't lawrence know if/when his father was off on duty?

Rusty Gordon is called Rusty Malone.

Lawrence says in this episode that he doesn't go to church, and he doesn't know anything about God. But, in "Subject Yourself" (ep 308) his mom is a strong Christian, and in "A Call For Reverend Jimmy" (ep 289) Lawrence goes to church (though this could be due to the Barclay's influence). This seems like very large event (the whole family converting) to be done off air.

One of Lawrence's "imaginary ride" sequences in the episode resembles the movie "Fantasic Voyage." He goes into the body of an important person in a mini-submarine to get rid of some sort of tumor planted by terrorists. He goes through the heart (which is too loud) and is eventually surrounded by a white blood cell at the end.
