|Connie and Eugene go into the Imagination Station and experience the birth of Jesus Christ!
This episode was based on the stage production "Step into Bethlehem", written by Paul McCusker.

When the general asks Connie to come to Rome, he mentions the Coliseum. It was not built until seventy AD and this adventure takes place around 3 or 4 BC.
The character of Judah is a reference to Acts 5:37.
Connie mentions a cartoon character when she says, "Your telling me? I'm going to have arms like Popeye by the time this is over", in which Eugene replies, "Who? Oh, that little mariner fellow. Popeye being Popeye the Sailor Man!
: Where's our Joseph? Eugene?
: I'll be there momentarily Mr. Whittaker. I was just uh having uh trouble attempting to tie my sandals.
: Oh, do you need help?
: [laughs] The IQ of a planet and he can't even tie his own sandals.
: I'll ignore that. Do I look appropriate to the occasion?
: You might want to get rid of your glasses.
: Huh? Oh yes, I'm about 13 centuries ahead of my time.
(to Benjamin) Connie will be working here at your fine establishment.
